How we use cookies

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar browser-storage technologies are, why Athens Blue Tours uses them, and how you can control them. It applies to athensblue.com and is part of our broader Privacy Policy.

When you grant analytics consent, we initialise Google Analytics for Firebase (GA4), which uses cookies to measure how visitors use the site — including pages viewed, time on site, and how visitors navigate between pages. This data is collected in aggregate and helps us improve the website. No personal information is shared with third parties for advertising.

When you grant advertising consent, we load the Google Ads tag (AW-18074239814), which places cookies to measure whether visitors who clicked one of our Google Ads went on to make a booking. This is conversion measurement only.

We do not enable remarketing, audience creation, or personalised advertising through Google Ads on this website. The ad_personalization signal is always set to denied.

Advertising cookies are only set after you grant consent. You can withdraw advertising consent at any time through the Cookie settings link in the footer.

The contact form on this website posts to Web3Forms (api.web3forms.com) when you submit it. Web3Forms processes the data you type into the form (name, email, message) in order to deliver it to us. It does not set tracking cookies and operates under its own terms. Form submission is a user-initiated action.

Bokun booking links on this website open an external booking platform (widgets.bokun.io) in a new tab. Bokun operates under its own privacy and cookie policy. We do not embed Bokun widgets or iframes on this site.

We do not use Google Tag Manager, social media pixels, live chat tools, YouTube embeds, Google Maps embeds, or any other third-party script or iframe that would place cookies without your knowledge.

You can change or withdraw your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page on this site. Your choice will take effect immediately for future collection. Because the analytics and advertising SDKs cannot be fully unloaded once initialised in a page session, withdrawal stops future data collection but does not retroactively erase data already sent during the current session.

Google Analytics for Firebase (operated by Google LLC) retains analytics data in accordance with the data-retention settings configured in the GA4 property. Google LLC may process data on servers outside Greece and the European Economic Area under its own international-transfer mechanisms.

Google Ads conversion data (operated by Google LLC) is retained in accordance with Google's standard advertising data policies.

Your consent record (ab_consent_v1) is stored only in your own browser's localStorage and is not transmitted to any server.

This Cookie Policy supplements our Privacy Policy, which covers how we handle personal information you provide through inquiry forms, email, phone, WhatsApp, and direct bookings. If there is a conflict between the two documents, the Privacy Policy governs for personal data processed outside of cookie and analytics contexts.
